  1. Evaluating Influencers

Navigating the Influencer Screener

The Thane Screener is where you evaluate how well our tracked crypto influencers — often called Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) — have performed over time. The interface is split into five views, each answering a slightly different question:

Click a KOL’s name to drill down.

Thane Detail

See every token an influencer has mentioned, the date of the call, and performance since.

Click a specific token or the X link beside the call.

Token Detail

View which other influencers have covered the same token and how their calls have fared.

Jump to those influencers’ detail pages.

Tokens Overview

Search any token to discover which KOLs mentioned it and the average return since first mention.

Click a KOL in the result list.

Shills

Live tape of the latest tracked mentions (“shills”). Useful for spotting fresh calls within minutes.

Click the mention to open its Token Detail and influencer data.

Data coverage and limitations

  • We capture only calls we can reliably price.

  • Historical gaps may exist if posts are deleted or made in private channels.

  • Performance figures are informational only and should be one of many inputs in your research process. For the exact calculations, see Understanding Performance Metrics.

  • Variable look-back window – The historical window captured for each influencer is not uniform; some profiles show months of calls, others only recent weeks. Anything earlier than the tracked window is not displayed.
